This course is self-paced and will take you through topics to help hone your advocacy skills such as:

• What does it mean to advocate well and how do we do that?
• Influencing policy
• The process of advocacy
• Effective communication for advocacy.

Each of these four modules contains reading, multi-media presentation, and videos to engage you in the learning. 

This is the second course in the Certificate Program in Advocacy from Joni and Friends that will be available December, 2022. The program consists of four parts: three courses and a capstone project that will give students a usable presentation or process that can be immediately utilized in whatever advocacy field they are interested in.
